Sunil Manchanda is the owner of the premier film and television commercial production house called MAD Films. Sunil started this production house with his childhood friend Mukul Anand in 1991; the duo went on to produce the best of television commercials the Indian television audience has ever witnessed in bollywood.
However post the demise of Mukul Anand in 1997, the company was solely
managed and run by Sunil taking it to great heights having produced over 1500
television commercials and 8 feature films in a span of 20 years, amongst which
'Paa' being the national award winner for the best film in 2009.
Given Sunil’s enterprising personality he went on to create MAD Studios in 2012, his vision to set up an unparalleled, innovative and cutting edge umbrella service for film production, housing everything imaginable from the lights & grips setup to never seen before specialized equipment all under one roof. MAD Studios is the largest film equipment rental company and the only One Stop Shop model for film equipments in India. On December 4, 2009, Paa was released in 34 countries worldwide. Manchanda also produced Cheeni Kum in 2007, which won one award and was nominated for four others. His 2003 film Tere Naam, won four awards.
